Anyone know where I can get a headlamp reflector suitable for ridng on the left? I bought mine from a UK dealer, but it turned up with a reflector set for driving on the right. I currently have an ugly strip of black tape to cut the dip beam and stop it blinding oncoming drivers.
Just a thought, have you tried fitting the headlamp upside down... it might not work but it is worth a try? I have had a couple of glasses of wine so this advice comes with an alcohlol warning
Well being blonde I would naturally assume to turn the headlight upside down
Nice shiny shiny raptor mmmmm precious, no need for polish!!!

I'm only blonde when I pay someone to make it so
but still managed to nearly fail an Mot by having an upside down headlight fitting (not with the Rap though)
ooh and as Dizzy's not partaking can I have her drink?
I may have figured out a source for the reflector that'll let me ride in the UK without a bit of black tape on my lense. Triumph Trident, Bonneville and Thunderbird all use clear glass headlights and have symmetrical dip patters so will work for riding on both right and left hand side of the road. (see here http://www.triumphparts.gbr.cc/www.triu ... 3465&ack=9 )
I'm not sure of the size of the reflectors though, so as soon as I get some free time I'm off to my local trumpet dealer to see if their reflector will fit a Raptor's headlamp shell.
