Dyno graphs

Post by yeah! »

Howdi!!!!!
Does anyone have dyno charts for comparison?
Hopefully any mods would be included for comparison. The best outcome is a series of runs with each mod showing how the improvements or dips occurred.
Thanks guys and gals

Dyno-licious!

I happily have a graph somewhere. If I can scan it, I'll upload it.
It was done on a slightly modded Raptor 1000, details below.

Year of manufacture 2002
Engine 1000cc
Ridiculously small air intakes removed.
MTC cans fitted...lovely noise!
Clean air filter, low mileage.

I'll try and dig the graph out after I've collected my daughter from school.

It's some time since i tried this, but here goes...

To save you looking back at my previous reply, here's what this represents...

Engine TL1000
Mods : stupid air inlet restrictors removed ; MTC aftermarket cans fitted (road legal with baffles)
Low mileage. Equally silly emissions system disconnected and blanked off for test.
Hope that's a start. I haven't any plans to do anything else, yet. Though i'm toying with a power commander, removing the emissions
system and sorting the low rev richness. That will make Bella a bit noisier below 4250 rpm...nowt wrong with that.

thanks mate.....my graphs are wrong and the dyno guy can't explain why his smooth curves don't show the massive flat spot or the rough fuelling. He took my bike for a ride and said he could only tune it on the fly, as he said he'd done to TL's.
