Bit of advice needed please.

Bike going into shop on wednesday for the swingarm bearings. As we know Cagiva are really quick at sending stuff  Does anyone have info as to where mechanic can get the parts for the job here. Have no idea what is needed yet as its not stripped down, but any advice, info or numbers would be appreciated.

Yep, you'll need two 2816 needle roller bearings for the chain side and two 6904 ball-race bearings for the other. If you or your mechanic don't know, the codes are standard designations for bearings and you should be able to pick them up from most bearing suppliers.

Just bumping this little topic up again.

Look like I have play in my head bearings or they are fecked.

Don't think its a job for my limited knowledge, how much should a garage charge me? just want to make sure I don't get ripped off.

I would say a max of two hours labour and the bearings should be around a tenner.

Budget for a max of £100 all in but could be much less depending on their rates and how good/quick they can do the job.

I would say quite a bit more than that depending where you go as my mate was quoted £70 to change a front tyre valve.
Say £30-£40 for bearings and maybe £130 labour but obviously depends where you go.
