Handguards

Post by V4mp »

I'm not sure if I like V-raptor indicator pods and I was thinking getting them off...
Or replacing orange plastic to clear one, btw does anyone know where I can get one ?
But today having hang over and being all day in the internet and off course checking motorcyclesites got sick idea what if I would put handguards with turn signals and mirrors like hypermotard into my V-raptor ? Does anyone have pics of v-raptor with handguards on ?

I had handguards fitted to my Rap this near but have recently took them off again!!

Anyway, pics are on "Buell and Italian V Twin Meeting 2013" on Events forum and will be on the last page.

Miz and Dizzyblonde both had pics of my bike in there.

I saw hand guards on an Xtra at http://www.raptorchapter.org.uk/viewtop ... 724#p17397, didn't like them, but your mileage may vary!

Clear white lenses look mintox - http://www.raptorchapter.org.uk/viewtop ... 043#p29275 - if I get my finger out I may soon be in a position to sell you a pair!

Which ones did you fit CT ?
I really could have done with some at the weekend but can't see a way that those I've seen for sale would fit.
I have heated grips fitted which is fine with summer gloves (used when a sudden chill or the need to dry some wetness out) but the heat doesn't seem get through winter gauntlets  .

Those handguards looks kind of heavy ? :o Maybe handguards doesnt fit v-raptor as well as they fit in Hypermotards or Rivale...
Have other pics with handguards on ? I need to be sure because I really like the idea getting rid of indicator and mirror problems in same time !
But clear lenses I really like... 8)

Snap,
They fit instead of bar-ends, I got them on ebay, they have white led sidelights in then and worked pretty well at keeping windblast off my fingers but being such a superficial git I decided I preferred the look without them and sod the arthritic fingers!!!!

Which bar ends do you have, snap? And is it just me, or do the OEM ones look really phallic?!
