Post by ozzraptor »

Anyone know what other lever is compatable with raptor clutch lever , just looking for a blaclk lever. Looks like the Mito lever is similar ? Havent had much luck on ebay. I thought the TL 1000 levers were the same not really sure ? Thanks in advance :)

This thread http://www.raptorchapter.org.uk/viewtop ... =11&t=1069 is stickied, as the definitive lever thread! IIRC the brake is straight off a TL1000S, and the clutch is off an Aprilia RS250, plus some Guzzi's. I searched for ages for levers, the only adjustable clutch I saw was a silver RS250 one on fleabay, but I'm very happy with my V trec levers.

The TL ones are different, but if you manage to pick up the mount & switch from the breakers the wiring plugs into the new switch and works correctly.

Agree with Miz, thats what I did many moons ago.

Bonus is its easy to get clutch cables and levers that fit straight on and are generally cheaper

i replaced my clutch lever with an adjustable one from the Kawasaki W650 ( or was it the W800) either one of those !

it fit straight on to my 2000 Raptor 1000cc.

IIRC I checked with my dealer and the pattern Aprilia RS250 clutch lever was the same part number as the pattern raptor 1000 clutch lever (from an Aussie parts supplier called MCS or MPS or something), so http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/300485090726 should fit, as long as you don't need adjustableness!

I did see the V-Trec website was out of them, but a wee "worldwide" shufty on fleabay came up with some nice looking "Cagiva hebel"s - 45 quid http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/260358974326 or 85 Aussie http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/260358974326.

Searching ebay.it for "cagiva leva" comes up with even more options, happy shopping y'all!
