Post by craftycat »

Hi folks, checking in again aftet quite a while!! Still have my raptor baby, I'll never part with her despite the garage mechanic calling her an antique! Still near Le Mans in France.
How is everyone, see a lot of names I remember from many years ago are still around.

Lol, yes, rosé coming up!! And Snappy, a normandie cidre as well! We're lucky as today has been a bank holiday and as is tradition in France it lands on a thursday the friday is automatically a bridge day!! So... loooong weekend! Mind you, not really for me as still in the workshop throwing pots and making jewellery but the thought's there. Off on the bikes on sunday to see the qualifications for the Le Mans 24hrs, fingers crossed for the weather!
Oh and no one puts Rappy in the corner!!!!

Hey cc, welcome back, I'll just have a cafe au lait thanks, but perhaps with a shot of a local liqueur, if you can recommend one!

Lol Dizzyblonde! The pont de Normandie springs to mind, a friend of mine refuses to go over it. I must have a screw loose as I love it! When you get to the top with your head in the clouds!!
Spyke, café au lait with perhaps a drop of eau de vie brewed by most people around here. Can be with made using almost any fruit, pears usually but we have tasted homemade with prunes, apples, strawberries or raspberries. Knocks your socks off!!!

Ah, eau de vie sounds lovely, I will indeed try that - reminds me of the schnapps in Austria that could be made with almost anything - but my least favourite was the cabbage
