Motd , nae bother, 50 K miles coming up soon, the wee beauty sat for a year and started up with no battery top up and on old fuel. Had a minor trauma removing the back axle to change tyres, the alloy dymag centres had become a bit too friendly with the axle, came good in the end, didnt even have to faff with the back brake.
The Beesa ( 71 A65 L) will be next, looking forward to some fun shopping on the raptorina first though, Here comes summer.
I have a minor oil leak at the clutch cover , will rob the spare off the cheap ebay motor i picked up a few years ago for £250.
Back on the road
Re: Back on the road

Re: Back on the road
Gave the bike some TLC today, removed the clutch cover.
Of course the O ring had somehow grown to the point it would no longer fit.
Chucked it in the deep freeze to do that thing mens scrotal areas undergo with the cold.
Removed the fecked 6 mm Al fastener, easy with pliers.
Cut a fresh one from stock in the shed.
Looked at the donor motor, its cover was in worse nick than mine.
With the cover off , checked inside , no scratches that went right through.
The cover rim had gone like a pie crust, wavy round the fasteners.
Taped some 100 grit paper to the worktop, lapped down the cover.
Took the worst off , refitted the O ring, and boxed it back up.
Cleaned all the messy oil leak up and checked the fuel tank breather was clear while I was at it.
