Buggeration.

Post by Fazerstun »

Turns out that the brake light switch I got from the bloke in Henfield is the wrong fitting. Having a wee bit of trouble locating a proper one. Anyone got any ideas?

Hmmm, well - just chatted with a chap at PDQ, he assures me that the part I have just ordered from them is the correct part and they will get it out to me double quick.... I am cynical. I'm getting more cynical by the minute here

I ordered a Honda brake light switch and it seams to be exactly the same.
The ebay user is no longer available but it's description was
HONDA FRONT BRAKE LIGHT STOP SWITCH NSR CBR CM CX GENUINE NEW 35340-MA5-671
it cost me $17.00 AUD
There's similar items on ebay from
4into1motorcycleparts
Front Brake Light Switch ☆ 80's Honda Models ☆ 35340-MA5-671 ☆
and it lists a whole bunch of Honda models.
I guess any bike with that same Nissin master cylinder will have the same front brake light switch.
I cannot guarantee this but mine worked.
