Cool, good to have all these tech notes in the one place, thanks for sharing. The only thing I can add is the the front discs seem to be pinched from the Aprilia RS250...the rear 220mm seems to be absolutely unique to the Raps, please someone correct me if I'm wrong?

Additional information for forks
Raptor 650 spring and preloading tube kit p/n 800099944 is the same for the raptor 1000; but 1000 V and X-tra raptor are different.
The spring measures 285mm long.
OD 38.75mm
ID 29.75mm
wire diameter 5mm
The spring stiffness measures K = 0.81 kg/mm.
Comparing racetech's spring search against a 750 monster 01 and a 696 Monster 08 would suggest it might suit a 60 to 65kg rider. But this is a guess as the bike's weights differ, as do C of G and steering tube angle, but it's an idea.
The spring sleeve measures 116 mm long with an OD of 38 and an ID of 30mm it is black plastic.
The fork caps threads are interesting as they measure 45.5mm OD with a M1.5 pitch much courser than most fork caps.
Those looking for linear rate springs may find this helpful. Maybe Racetech's FRSP S3827, OD 38.2mm x 36 x 273mm long may fit as these are often supplied slightly longer than 273mm but it will still need a longer spacer. At this moment it is only a guess and the top spring locator may also need changing.
Lastly, the forks feature a motorcross style x cross section inner spring guide which measures around 27.75mm across it's highest points but it is not shown on the parts list or workshop manual.
Thanks
Al

Newer RSV forks can be mounted to stock triples if you drill them but you will need new brakes.
