So for now, I'm in!

Originally , it began as one or two that bumped into each other at the Buell and Italian bike festival next door at the aviation centre.HiFi wrote:55 years agoWhen are you lot going to do a 'meet' a bit further south / west for us carrot crunchers in Somerset
One year, I extended the invitation to an annual Sv meet that I organised in the Yorkshire dales , I then decided it would be a good idea after we got along for the weekend , that really we should have our own raptor meet and the campsite we have been using for a few years now was very convenient as everyone knows where it is, from all corners of the UK. We tried a meet last year in the Peak District for something different that Snappy organised. Norrie organised this year's.
It's not local to any of us to be fair, isn't East Kirkby ,but it's got a great raptor rapor , and the pub does legendary pie!!! There are folks that ride down from Scotland, and those that come from nearer to you, so I'd say it was fairly central to all of us

I am not an alcoholic, alcoholics go to meetings. I am a drunk, we go to parties.

Sounds good to me.
I'm a bit sore today after doing 650 Miles over the weekend but well worth it. If anyone wants a meet closer to them put the feelers out and see if anyone is interested. All you need is a biker friendly campsite and possibly a nearby pub as a couple of us like a drink or two.
Had a really good time this weekend and especially likes the run Weirdo and I had out on the Saturday and the ice cream was nice at Skegness.

Yeah had a thoroughly enjoyable evening with you all. I had an easy ride home apart from it being a bit too windy.
Same again soon!

I don't want to nag as I know you're all busy, maybe I can just leave a smiley hint?

Thanks sheb, looks like you caught both days of summer?!
Pix could be more incriminating, but maybe you're keeping them for personal purposes. Poor show from the lads!
I think I need a new tattoo now, I don't have a bike one yet, I'd been planning a big manga version of my beastie but a celtic roundel may do in the interim till I find an artist that can cartoonise a raptor!
