Cheaper OEM parts from France (helps for Aussies)

Post by Aussiejoe »

I came across this website for OEM parts in France http://www.bike-parts-mv.com/tarif_mv_agusta.php
Just put in the part number you require, you can get the part numbers from here https://www.oemmotorparts.com/oem2.asp?M=cagiva
They don't have all the Raptor parts, but everything I looked for on there was about half the price of oemmotorparts. Freight is slightly more expensive to Australia at 50 Euro.
For Australians, always check with Paul Feeney Group for any parts before looking elsewhere, they have a lot of parts not listed on Ebay, you can contact them there. http://www.ebay.com.au/usr/paulfeeneygroupptyltd

Thanks Joe
I was looking at parts from Oem but these other guys are way cheaper. Still have to check with Feeney yet.
Always good to have options.

Saw you were looking for one of those chain buffers, I got one off Feeney about 18 months ago ONTRACK. I've got my 650 fully dismantled at the moment if you want dimensions for it to cut one out of rubber. I missed your post the other month about rear sprockets, MetalGear have sprockets for Raptors, they're at Brendale on Brisbane's north side http://metalgear.com.au/view_sprocket_m ... del_id=334

Cheers for that Joe
I ended up with a busa sprocket and got it machined.
Cost me about $85 for the rear all up.
Must say i can notice the difference now with a new chain and sprockets.
Thanks for the info about the guys at Brendale.
Are you in Brissy?

Yeah mate, I live on the Redcliffe Peninsula on the north side. Currently doing up my Raptor and repainting/powdercoating everything, replacing all bearings as well as overhauling all the brakes. Not touching the motor at the moment, just soda blasting it and painting it satin black. Been doing a lot of research into getting bits and pieces I want to replace in the process. I'm guessing you're aware that the Triumph shop on Lawrence Street at Nerang is the MV Agusta dealer down your way, and can supply Cagiva parts. That was Paul Feeney's old shop, back in the days when he used to be the Cagiva importer, that's why he still has heaps of parts available.

Yep, been there quite a few times, it's only 10mins away.
Never thought to ask about parts there though, Doh.
It's where my rappy came from, second hand with 6000 kms on it.
Now has 61000 kms.
I'll go down this week and quiz them.
