OK, I'm a paid-up member of the group now, with a very tasty 9.5K mile Raptor 1000 sitting in the garage after a 200mile get-to-know-you ride home yesterday!
Now to start making a nuisance of myself in the Technical lists...

Re: Wannabe in Norfolk
Here's a pic of my happy other-half astride the Raptor I chose. She'd better not think she has exclusive rights to riding it!
The bike is standard apart from a nasty small headlamp fitted when a PO broke the OEM one. When I've established the mount spacing and clearance behind the unit, I'll replace it with a proper head, fitted with one of Cyclops Adventure Sports' very excellent LED H4 bulbs.

Couple of hundred miles later, and suspension has bedded in. Marvellous what new fork oil does!dizzyblonde wrote:55 years agoHi, I don't find the suspension harsh, soft or not to my liking. Well, until I had it rebuilt! The front end is now a bit harder I preferred it's saggy old bounce! Maybe it's because it's all new and it needs to settle, and maybe the roads could do with less rough and potholes everywhere than the last time I rode it properly..... Two years and the roads are bloody awful in Yorkshire!!
