Howdy, thought I best say hello before all the noobie questions begin.
Picked up my Raptor 1000 on tuesday, 52,000k's young and going strong.
First job is to straighten the rear brake lever and see why the rear brake light is not activating so I can register her.

Re: Hi from Canberra
I bet it's the rear brake light bulb strip connectors. They corrode, lose their springiness and the connectors also become sloppy. Just give them a tickle clean and tighten & you should be finesee why the rear brake light is not activating so I can register her
I've always had trouble with these and ended up having to buy a complete new light.
Enjoy

Re: Hi from Canberra
It is the wire from the rear banjo switch, I soldered a new bit in the middle, then replaced the blade connectors, but in the end it still defeated me as one of the connectors in the white plug is also dodge.
Will need to go to supercheap and see what connectors they have on the weekend.
