Fender Extender

Post by 2fast4u »

Can anyone recommend a fender extender that works on the 650 as my engine keeps getting covered in dirt/salt and Its a pain to clean as I don't have a pressure washer

Not sure if the fenders are the same on the 650 as the 1000, I'm thinking they are.

I never found a direct fitment so on my 1000 I fitted a >07 Ducati monster Red Fox fender extender, which had the same curves and did the trick. See https://raptorchapter.org.uk/viewtopic. ... der#p34996

You still get some dirt on/around the exhaust header and most especially on the oil cooler. I had to buy a replacement as the previous one was clogged solid after a year commuting on B roads.

There's no real way you're going to stop it mind.... have look at Suzuki's V Strom to see the size of fender you really need https://www.bennetts.co.uk/bikesocial/n ... l1050-2020

Ok thanks it would of been better if the oil cooler wasn't there like the gen 1 sv/raptor it would be so much easier cleaning the engine
