polished footpeg hangers?

has anyone had their footpeg hanger plates polished.if so how did they come out,do they tarnish quickly.not had any replies with exact paint colour match for these on a previous post.thanks to snapdragon though and mike for ideas.but unless snaps going to mix up a pot of paint for me i think ill polish them

ozzy, there's a v-rap in this months streetfighter mag with polished hangers on it, looks cool aswell.
