Hi everybody
hi to everybody.
I have just purchased my first raptor and it seems to be a very good bike indeed
it handles well plenty of poke and most important to me it wheelies very well.
just out of intrest does anyone out there have an idea on the fact that oil transfers into the airbox wilst on the back wheel just like a duek and has anyone got a solution to this very minor niggle.

thanks for the reply i have another one for ya as i say i have only had the bike for less than a week and i bought it from a dealer in huddersfield the tappets sound a bit loud to me seen as it has just had its first major service early at 13,000 Mls however he assured me this is normal and not to worry about it dont get me wrong its not very loud but you can here them.RaptorMan wrote:55 years agoHi mate and welcome to the asylum
Never had the oil in airbox prob but although I get mine well up it aint up for long.
Ps I have been stunting for years and do some unpaid displays as and when asked I have been toying with the idea of starting a stunt school its fab for genral bike control and confidence but thats a way off yet.

Tappets are noisy on them anyway so don`t worry about it
Just get loud race cans and you won`t notice it anymore
Would you be interested in doin a Raptor Rally next summer

Give these boys a shout, http://www.fhmoto.co.uk/index.htm they supplied my G Force cans and link pipes which are reckoned to be about the best for that engine set up.
Be patient with them as they deal with a lot of suppliers and may take a few days to email back but they know what they are talking about.

Welcome
Don't suppose I'm too far away either in Haydock, St Helens.
Maybe we should sort a Raptor summer ride out
