Re: Engine cutting out
I know it's an old topic, but just wanted to say thanks!
After riding in the rain a bit, occasionally it would run rough then give an FI error and LED. From reading this thread I tracked it down to a blocked overflow pipe which allowed water to enter the fuel tank when opening the cap.
Fixed the pipe, drained the tank, cleaned the plugs and ran some dry-fuel through and bingo!

Thanks again to all contributors !
Happy Rappy.

Re: Engine cutting out
Mine does exactly the same thing, left me coasting in the middle of a roundabout with cars hurling themselves at me... not nice. Happens every year at some point, last time was on a 5hr journey back from Magny Cours last year.... millions of roundabouts and every bloody one it stalled.
Crap Tarten is right, it's TPS. There is a thread here somewhere to sort it out. My hubby has it engrained into his memory as well as some sort of bodge tool to put the bike into maintenance mode.
If you need more help I'm sure he'll give you details.

Hi Sheebee!!
Sorry, too lazy to read everything Fazerstun!!
For me it's always TPS without fail, pain in the rear but come with the raptor territory it seems. I have forgiven her for that terrible journey but I know it'll happen again
