What Fuel?

I am going to pick up my 2001 V-Raptor 1000 tomorrow from the dealers.
Just wondering what fuel people run them on? ie normal unleaded or the highest octain avalable at the garage?
Will running the bike on high octain be ok? As that is what i plan on running it on.

Mine gets normal unleaded, with super unleaded as a treat occasionally, I do seem to get more mpg out of the super but riding 'enthusiastially' or 'sensibly' makes more difference.

Yes very excited. I can't wait to collect her!
Trouble is we are forcast rain all weekend so I won't be able to get a good ride in......

Welcome and congrats on the new bike.
I use normal unleaded at this time of the year and then go for the high octane stuff in the summer months......Might have something to do with owning a Buell though as well as the raptor.

I use normal unleaded and mines tuned.
Might try that V Power though to see if it makes a difference
