The yellow one we all know, 310mm ,good spring rate but underdamped.
The red one vfr800, 315mm, spring a bit strong (see how thick it is) but proved the point- damping works! , not too bad a shock if you're a porker like me , or carry a pillion.
The blue one Aprilia Falco, 318mm, shorter stroke than the other two, but works very well. bike turns nicely now on standard linkage plates, as somebody else said - now for the front!

It just needed a couple of mm grinding off the top eye.
Heres another one

I use a unit from a Yamaha R1 in my bike.
I don't recomend it as you have to relocate the battery and make a new rear dash.

Would just like to add that the aprilia tuono rear shock fits (fitted today!!) as per falco fitting.
I went down the tuono route as more available and very stock looking to the untrained eye
Also has 44 comp/rebound clicks from soft to hard etc and just a tad posher spec than std falco.
The shock length is 315mm eye centre to centre.
Top mount needs a coupla mm grind at rear to clear rear of frame mount.
I also added a m10 3mm spacer both sides at the bottom mount and 5mm m10 spacer at both sides on top mount just to be fussy and get it bob on central.
The bottom comp/rebound clicker is best suited to run the chain side for access etc.
So..... Another one to add to the list

Cheers lads,
Just picked up a Falco shock on ebay for £20- bought a remote reservoir for it off local aprila dealer for £50 NOS . Now have a fully adjustable rear shock for £70. Tidy
