Love the Rap in black. I also love the wavy discs very nice. I notice you also have a shiny seat hump? Is this just plastic or is CFRP? Did it come with the bike or did you get it seperate? Everyone ought to be aware that I have serious geek tendancies so stand by.
1. The book, "Why don't penguins feet freeze" is from the questions page of the New Scientist magazine.
2. The answer is to do with insualtion and blood flow in a cold adapted avian species. Hence the eggs get rested on the top of the feet and tucked under the blubber folds.
If anyone ever needs some useless trivia I am your man. So here is your trivia starter for 10.
The word Trivia is latin. It comes from the practice of the women of the time meeting outside of town to gossip aimlessly. The place they met was at the junction of three roads or Tri Via.
I am off now to get out more, get some friends, get a life etc.

Black bike
I bought the bike as is - it actually is red but the young guy who bought it new was a spray painter changed it to that gloss black. Looks great doesnt it ! It is a great job - the bit on the back is GRP, it is an intergral part of the look I have only taken a pillion once so I never take that bit off.
A few friends and I are taking out bikes on the ferry to do the Geat Ocean Road in Victora in a few weeks. Should get a few good photo opportunities there.
