Re: under seat panels
Hi, i reckon I may have a set of the normal plastic side panels. They are probably from the 1000 but I`m certain they are all the same. I have "upgraded" to CF so PM me if interested.
My mrs has the 650ie rap and since she is fairly new to biking I havent considered doing any upgrades for performance yet so not sure what is out there!

performance mods
Hi Bill
Heres what Ive done
Engine mods, advance ignition pickup by 2 degrees for a bit more torque at lower revs. Free ish
Swap inlet cams for later K5 and fit old inlets to exhauast, about £120. this changes the exhaust tone and adds a touch more about 5,500 rpms onward. ive left cans and filters stock, but big weight savings if different cans are fitted.
Chassis
Cheapest - dearest
Flyscreen, instant +5 mpg
baines link, raises rear and sorts bar shake on bumps.
Hagon shock, stock are poor and fade fairly quickly.
maxton forks internals, great but spendy, much cumfier .
Carbon rimmed Dymags, bling but wins everywhere handling , accel and braking
Brakes
Wavy rear disc, the std one will definetly crack if it isnt already.
brembo Radial front master cylinder, big improvement in feel.
now at 45,000 miles and still going well.
have fun with your 650 , great bike.
