Problem.... My Mother has taken a fall and broken her hip - she has had the surgery this morning and is recovering but at the moment I dont know if I will be able to make it.

It just happens to be 100 miles from my house, not sure if i need to plan a stop before then that's all.

Depends which side you are coming in from Weirdo

If you are coming in from the Skipton side, there is a petrol station in Settle, which is 4 miles from the campsite. Settle is well signposted, the petrol station is a co-op as well.
If you are coming in from the Kendal direction, there is a petrol station aprox 4 miles away too, just shy of Ingleton. Thats on the A65 itself.
I happened to have linked up the directions from the campsite in either direction to both towns, so here you go, you can find them here. Petrol station in Settle has a street view pic on there, and if you look at the ingleton link, the petrol station is a few streets away from the turning.

It be best if you are to fill up at either, if you are planning on doing the rideout, avoid the queue in the morning And if you are doing the ride, make sure you fill up at the lunch stop too!

It appears possibly there may also be a double/twin B&B room available, one of the members has had to drop out.
And a space in a bunkhouse for the same reason.

If you are worried about the Raptor parking, theres a lot of hard standing....where I'll be parked up. The field itself is pretty weel drained, and I also have about 40 sidestand pucks for those who may require them.

As for all this rain............I'll report back tonight, as the co-organiser is up there from today,as well as a few others....I can almost hear their cursing from here
