Used to be red now it's passion purple
The "decals" are airbrushed on in paint called metaljules from house of kolors
Also fitted motrax allycators and changed the colour of the speedo and revcounter while I was at it. Hopefully next winter it'll get a full strip down and have the wheels (who the he'll thought brown was a good colour?) and frame powdercoated satin black to match the peg hangers.
Also got an led rear light on it
I better not put a picture up of the rider as she'll probably slap me

Ohh that is lovely... I was toying with purple, or Burple for the trike but elected for a sparkly silver/blue... since Boss is curretly in the shed spraying the silver base on the wheels - it might be a bit late to change my mind again!

Ahh yeah burple is a nice colour.
I think she chose purple in the hope it'll stop me borrowing it lol
Same bloke also sprayed my sv650 in shimmering green

Not a big purple fan, but that looks really nice. Would it be cheeky to ask the ballpark cost of a spray like that?
Would keep mine in red: just curious.

Tasteful that is
very smart, and good decals
since my repaint I no longer have a cagiva marker - and keep getting asked what it is

If I rememebr correctly it cost me £250 for the paint job as it was just the tank and mudguard. My sv650s cost me £450 for complete respray (tank needed a dent filling, and front fairing needed smoothing over after I modded it) i think we did get a slight mates rates reduction on it though

It has a really nice sparkle to the paint and even more to the decals.
Very deep shine as it has something like 12 coats of lacquer

Lol yeah it is very cadbury-ish.
Not sure what to do with the panels and seat unit, apart from repair them so all the fixing tabs are attached again. Thought about getting them painted but they don't have a smooth finish on them, my other thought is the v-rap/single seat unit as pillions are rarely carried.
Wheels and frame hopefully powdercoated the end of this year.
Dizzy, yeah have convinced her to keep it as it costs pretty much nothing to keep it in the garage just something like £80 for insurance so it's covered. Going to get it (and my SV) MOT'd and taxed before the summer and get her out on it!

Very easy to do. Clocks off, old bulbs out, new LEDs in and put clocks back. Simples
Not sure if you can do Nato green but green is certainly possible, here's my SV clocks with green LEDs in
