Re: Now in purple...
It was outsourced, my garage is far too dusty, dirty and full of stuff to paint anything properly!
Re: Now in purple...

Re: Now in purple...
the rubber bat wing cover is missing from the swing arm pivot, thats one of my favourite bits on the bike, come on now, shape up.
Stay calm.
Re: Now in purple...
Not posted for a little but yeah the batwing thing is missing on one side the other is somewhere in the garage
Going to be dragging out and dusting off both the SV and the Rap next month. Had them out the garage not so long ago so decided to get a group shot of the bikes
End of last year I also fitted some new suspension triangles
Going to try and sort out the rear brake again as it's pretty much useless at the moment and give it a service as Hazel wants to start using it for work as now we have changed cars she's not enjoying the fuel bills on the new one .

Hi.
Noticed in the pics at the start of this post that the fork legs are at different heights!
Dave.

Re: Now in purple...
Wow, eagle eyes or what! Yes, they're way out, or were, hopefully!
Road racing's where it's at - going round in circles all day is for hamsters.
Re: Now in purple...
Nice color yeah you can see the difference in the fork legs at the tripple clamps as well , that is a long way out
Re: Now in purple...
Wow, hadn't even noticed that in the pictures . I loosened one of the fork legs to make it easier to re fit the mudguard, if you look at the picture of the front mudguard yo can see the pinch bolt in the bottom yoke isn't tightened up.
I did set them at the same height (just been out to the garage to double check )

Re: Now in purple...
Being an anorak here, correct height is 190mm from bottom yoke to the end of the fork tube (seal)dirtydog wrote:

Re: Now in purple...
That respray is top draw, are the decals paint too?
Is it only me or I that crying out for gold accents...wheels at least, yokes..frame even...chain!!?
And IMHO mirrors let it down.
Panel sprayer deserves a mention.
Fist bump!

I've been meaning to strip it down and get the frame, swing arm and wheels powder coated/painted but couldn't decide on a colour but I think you might be on to something with the gold wheels
Just checking if the sprayer is still going as his website seems to be down at the moment.
Mirrors aren't great but they're functional, went for plain round ones as I couldn't find any that I liked at the time of needing some

Might get some bar end mirrors for it later this month
