Hello Folks,
Well.....I did it :(
Sold my lovely Raptor.
She wasn't getting used enough, so a mate made me an offer that I couldn't refuse.
The price was highish, but he got a bloody good deal on the cleanest, most well kept Raptor anyone is ever likely to find.
Check the pics and disagree if you want. She hasn't a mark on her.

So...after 11 years (10 Feb 2002) there is an empty space in the garage and the pit of my stomach. :wavesad:
I already miss that Staintune bark and that endless wave of torque.

I'll be lurking here for a while, and will have some bling for sale since Dan didn't pay THAT much
:)
Fancy clutch or levers anyone?

Ciao for now,
Allan

Sounds like you've had a good innings with the bike. We'll look forward to meeting your mate on here.

I did have a good innings, and I am already sorry :( :wavesad:
Dan dropped around last night to bring the final payment (a box of beer).
He is absolutley over the moon with the bike, both performance and condition.
Can't find a blemish on it (because there isn't a single scratch on it) and impressed that it still feels like a new bike.
Looking after a bike does pay off.... but not if you want to trade it in. Those vultures will never offer a decent figure for an immaculate bike.
"Fifty thousand kilometres....ooo that's high"....pig's arse!
Anyway, Dan is happy, and the money has been sucked in by the mortgage

The clutch cover, billet pressure plate and fasteners are as in the picture earlier in this topic.
Immaculate condition (of course), with very very small marks on the filler cover (I use a cloth between the ring spanner and the bolt head).
Asking $200 Aussie for the lot plus postage :)
May put on FleaBay, or post on TLPlanet soon, but thought I'd give the faithfull first bite.

What's filling the gap in the shed?
Not sure yet, but probably something a little more relaxed...but not a Harley or clone of (phtooeee). :naughty:
Maybe a Valkyrie if I can find an immaculate one.
A big change, yes, but I still have the Ducati which I have owned for 27 years. :revrev:

Keep the shiny side up,
Allan

This is my old Ducati, had it since the early 80's, need to get some time in the garage to sort it out...
