Paddock Stand Bobbins

I like to store the bike vertically so I use a paddock stand. I run a rod through the rear axle and it works fine, but have to drop the bike onto the sidestand, remove the rod then ride.
Just wondered if anyone had found a way to fit bobbins. I looked at the swing arm but that would require some form of spacer in the middle to avoid crushing the arm.
Thanks

have you seen an abba stand, fits to the swingarm pivot and lets you work either end.
No rod needed!
i also have a rear paddock stand with cup fitting and that holds it under the end of the swingarm.

I use a normal paddock stand under the swingarm.
I did have to curve the cups to fit snugly though, and the right hand cup had to be cut away to clear the brake mounting.

What about an Abba Stand? Takes the whole lot off the floor in one go.
Or something along these lines?

I'm not keen on paddock stands myself, that on ebay looks more sturdy.

Thanks for the thoughts. Abba stand has no advantage for me over the paddock stand and has a high cost factor here.
The rod through the axle works for the cups on the paddock stand, don't trust those pads, just wondered if anyone had had a brainwave and fitted bobbins.
Cheers from NZ.

I use a standard paddock stand, but have turned the cups to the outside so the bars that adjust the cups are free to be threaded into the rear axle

An abba stand won't seem so expensive after you drop the bike off a paddock stand. I know it seems a lot but they are great and work with most if not all bikes. I will never use a paddock stand despite the temptations of cost and speed as I've heard of so many drops.
Each to their own though....
