Newbie in Glasgow

Post by kenny-m »

Hi All

Just bought a 2006 Raptor 650ie. I've had a few different bikes over the years from a zzr1100 to various cbr's, triumph sprint and street triple. Wife bullied me into getting rid of the street and getting a convertible. So I got a '98 slk 230 kompressor and had enough change to get the raptor. It seemed the best bike I could get for my limited budget. In the end I got it for £850. It was a cat d write off in 2007 but was repaired properly and looks and sounds great, especially with the remus cans.
There are a few bit and bobs that are needed (mirror, footpegs and rear tyre) so far.
I'll try and get some pics posted soon

:D

Hi Kenny. The Street Triple will be a hard act to follow, but I'd definietely swap one for a sporty Mercedes and a Raptor. Hope it makes you very happy.
