Clutch cable

Well my clutch won't take any more adjustment so I'm searching for a replacement.
I read all the threads but still haven't found what fits to a raptor 650.
The best bet from what I've read is a TL1000S cable?
The original cagiva clutch cable costs 50E
How much will a hydraulic cost?will the one from the SV1000 fit?
Thanks!

TL1000s fits a V/Raptor 1000, but I think the SV650 or a GSE 500 fits the Raptor 650

not sure which version of the 650 it is but this thread talks about it >

Thanks snap
So the TL1000S one is for the V Raptor 1000
And the GS500 one is for the Raptor 650
At the french forum they say about the 1998 GS 500 more specifically
I'll check it at my local suzuki dealer and order it.
I'll inform if it worked

The 650 rap is basically a suzuki sv650 with differant chassis/running gear so i would expect stuff from one of the sv650,s should be compatible

At the other threads, guys who tried it with the sv650 cable mentioned that the cable is longer and shorter at the spot where it attaches to the lever

I've owned Raptor 650 and I had to replace clutch cable when it started to fray.
I used SV650 cable and it fit OK. If cable is too long you can "reroute" it through frame.
I didnt had that problem because wider steering bar.

Went with the clutch cable to a suzuki dealer.
He searched at his stock for matching cable and he found one with part no.58200-18G00-000
It doesnt fit straight in.
You have to cut this part of the metal

because the cable is a bit short.
Cut about 1cm and it comes to the right length.
Also you have to take a plastic cap from the nut that goes to the lever from the original clutch cable and add it to the new.
Well after that it's just fine.
Also the whole cable is a bit longer so I rerouted it a bit.
Suzuki cable costed me 27 euros.

Good result, much better than paying E105 for the Cagiva part! :happyhappy:
