Yeah, it's a real bummer when it's too sunny to get good phone pics. There was a day like that last year when I had the same problem.
They do look good when there's a few of them together don't they...

TBH I think heat is harder to deal with, than cold - there's a limit to the number of clothes you can take off! Perth is blessed with the climate California "thinks it has", apparently, it only really rains during winter, and even then it's usually got the decency to do it at night when I'm tucked up in bed. Spring and autumn are best as you can leave the windows open for the breeze, winter isn't so bad, although the locals like to complain about how cold it is I managed to do without a fire for the first three years I lived here, putting a jumper on and filling a hot water bottle to toast my feet on wasn't so hard! But I struggle with summer, when it's too hot to go outside I have to hide indoors, it's only 15 mins to the beach but I'm too peelly wally (pale blue) to cope with the blazing sun, just makes me cranky.

HI Spyke, Merv here, So envious of the weather out there in Oz, we here in the UK have had the wettest winter on record so we
have to have to think about what to wear on the Raptor as it's cold as well, and your only 15 minutes from the coast fantastic'
Just a small bit of advice (A shark will only attack you when your wet)
all the best mate
