Have just collected this little lot
really pleased with it as it only cost me £31, just had to do a 200mile round trip to collect.
Anyone want any tyres fitting and balancing
Bargain!
Re: Bargain!
Ooh, nice!
Yeah I'm nearly in the market for some new rear rubber, if you set off about now you should be here just in time!

Road racing's where it's at - going round in circles all day is for hamsters.
Re: Bargain!
Sorry, I'm not planning a mobile service[SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH], but I might make an exception, I'll let you know when I'm due on your doorstep.
Kit even came with adapters for Triumph and BMW single side wheels, weights and valves.

Re: Bargain!
It was on E-Bay, but was not listed very well, so did not get a lot of interest.shedmonkey wrote:wow where did you find that bargain?
It was a courier firm that were not using bikes anymore, so were selling off the surplus tools, had to go to Accrington to collect, but I don't have to pay for fuel on the car, so distance no object..

Wow bargain! I'd love a bead breaker. That's the hardest part of doing your own tyres I find.
I've never actually balanced one yet. I just leave the original weights in place. line up the red dot with the valve and take it for a spin to see how it feels. Been ok so far.
The best trick I found to make the tyre fitting easier was clamping the wheel down to the bench using an old car wheel. It makes such a difference.

Well while sorting out the head bearings (that ended up being head bearings, wheel bearings and new Renthal bars) I have tested the wheel balancer, only needed 20g to sort the front wheel.
