Just thought I'd share it with ya. I did change to mini LED blinkers since the picture. Still some work to do (and the mirrors gotta go) but a sweet ride it is

Haha What is next, besides the mirrors, or are you keeping it original? Any pictures or links to the mirrors you're getting?

Well alot of stuff is on the wish list, like carbon fairings, bellypan, some paint jobs etc

But I think I'll start with levers and mirrors. I was thinking of these:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2Pcs-Universal- ... 5b&vxp=mtr

But I'm open to suggestions!

Oh and also I could use new cans since the ones I have didn't come with db-killers and I don't think they'll pass MOT that way.

Oh okay, yeah I also always look to eBay for parts. Personally, I like my Mirrors to stick out just a tad so that iI I'm too close while passing my mirrors hit instead of my Handlebar (Yeah, I pass often and unfortunately have had a couple close calls). But, that's just my opinion. Go with whatever suits you. I do like the low profile and price on those! Plus, the color option. :)

Not too sure what MOT is, but going to assume it's a smog test of some sort needed for registration I've seen a few YouTube videos of people stuffing their baffle cans with extra padding to keep the sound down... It would be a temporary fix and can be undone. :)

Oh I thought an MOT was when your motorcycle has to pass an inspection (usually each year) to deem it road legal?
I'm sorry I might be wrong. English isn't my native tounge... :ouch:

Yes, exactly what I'm thinking. Here in California, a car has to pass a smog/emissions test once per year.

I bought a pair of these. They work well enough as mirrors and I think they are neat and unobtrusive. You can swivel them around so that they extend beyond the handlebars for better vision or keep them tucked in for threading through traffic. The original "lollipops" are okay but aren't really in keeping with the rest of the design, IMO. I had replaced mine with a pair more in keeping but the field of view was hopeless verging on dangerous. Then I bought these.

However, be aware that the ones you are looking at come in two different sizes for different internal diameters, so be careful to choose the right ones (the only difference is the o.d. of the rubbers), not that it matters, because:
The design for securing them in place is total crap. To hold the mirrors in place they rely on (poorly sized) rubbers being expanded as the bolts are tightened . They should have used metal expanding sleeves, like these:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/MOTORCYCLE-BLAC ... 9403&rt=nc
But they didn't.
I could not get mine to hold firmly (they slipped round) and would have sent them back except:
I have a pair of Renthal bars fitted and there is a knurled section sticking out beyond the grips at each end. Surprise, surprise: the i.d. of the actual mirror arm fitted over the handlebar ends quite nicely so I managed to fit the mirrors anyway and threw the fixings away.
I'll try to remember to photograph what I've got tomorrow and post that.
