Round two is yet to come. They didn't value my bike to my liking. Very undervalued in fact. So I expect one more skirmish for settlement.

So glad this is over. It's amazing how they try to write off a bike which is clearly not dangerous, and actually pretty awesome!

Don't sweat about the mechanics, we're here to help, I've learned a huge amount of stuff this year by doing most of my own spanner work, if you can take things methodically and not rush then most things are fairly straightforward. Check out your local night classes and things - I did a motorbike maintenance one years ago and it gave me the confidence to have a go, no disasters to date!
