Clutch actuator service

Post by redgpzrider »

Thank you to whomever it was who gave me the heads up on the stiff clutch issue.

Took the actuator off and cleaned and greased the helixes and removed the Built-up crud on the actuator rod. :suspect:

Action much smoother now but still on the heavy side but I'll get used to that.

Regards Red.

If it's still heavy, clean and grease the lever pivot, and check that your cable is free and routed correctly.

Something I did notice whilst doing this job is that oil came out of the seal when I pulled the clutch rod out to clean it, I take it that this is normal?
