Blinkin' Clutch Cover

Getting nowhere with trying to stop oil seeping out of the plastic outer clutch cover.
Is it a good idea to replace said cover with a TL 1000 ally cover and is it the TL 100 R version.
I have tried not tightening it too much, brand new rubber gasket, blue hylomar but all to no avail... as soon as bike is ridden quite hard it starts chucking oil out, all over the brake and tyre. Marvelous
