Hi All,

I am planning to get a few camping trips in this year on my V. I have a small problem with the seat - about an hours worth of saddle time becomes a major pain!! - any suggestions on improvements?.

Cheers,

Dazzle

expensive option is taking seat to a retrimmer who can reshape, insert gel pads etc.

Cheaper option (and I use this) wear cycling shorts with gel bum pad under leathers!

It may be a function of your size and stance on the bike putting weight on pressure points so look into that too.

The raptor seat is not particularly comfortable standard so I reshaped mine to get a more natural angle and shape and recovered the seat. Its easy to remove seat cover and shape the seat to suit. That with the cycling shorts works for me without spending a fortune.
