Raptor Chapter

Hi all

I recently bought a Raptor 1000 on eBay and it turned out the right fork stanchion chrome was corroded and pitted. I sent the forks in to Maxton for new cartridges and a new stanchion but they can't get the caliper mount off the bottom of the fork, so I need to get hold of either a full fork or just the fork tube.

If anyone has such a thing for sale please let me know. It doesn't matter if the outer isn't in good condition as long as the stanchion is OK. If I have to buy a pair then I am prepared to do so for the right price.

Perhaps someone who has fitted different forks to theirs would be willing to part with the originals.

I sold my forks to another member on here after I fitted R1 forks to mine.

Give it some time as quite a few on here have upgraded forks so ya never know.

The alternative is to upgrade yourself as there is a fair choice of stuff that fits. Of course if you have already done the deal with Maxton and paid out for stuff then you will probably be best sticking with them............................

The lowers are a bit tatty but I think I'll strip and paint them.

Oooof!! they are a bit expensive for what they are I reckon? For that money i would have went for a set of older R1 forks that are fully adjustable quality items and fit straight in.....................but if it gets you where you want to be then that`ll do.

You should have checked Classified Ads section... I have stock forks for sale there.
