sv1000 transplant

Gday all. Ive bought a written off sv1000 waiting for a frame from the U.S. and a sv650 tank from NSW. Just wondering if the sv engine and electrics could be transplanted into the v raptor

Theoritically yes.
But you ll have some issues matching the electrics as I think they are not completely the same.
But nothing that can't be done.

Cool, thanks for that,hope i dont need to do that the sv will be a nice 2nd bike.

How did your transplant work out?
can you confirm if the tank is the same on the 650?
