Hi everyone,has anyone here owned a xtra raptor HFO5LJU ? im looking at one on the web that has very low mileage,The place selling this this bike has a pretty poor review on the web and whilst im not in the habit of believing such things when your about to lay out nearly 5 grand it pays to be wary.Any info would be helpful.merry crimbo and a happy new year to you all!!

I get the feeling some dealers simply try it on to see if they can make a big profit. Most standard Raptors hang about for ages on ebay at prices half that one, so the market is not exactly flourishing and you can be pretty sure that that Extra was bought in at a quarter of the price. Then again, it is a bit special and should command a premium if you like the style. It'd be interesting to know if the Ohlins bits do more than confer bragging rights!
I follow all the ebay Cagiva ads and was amazed to see a very incomplete 350 Alazzurra cafe racer project freshly imported from some grotty shed being offered at double the price that any complete 650 model has ever made here in the UK. Caveat emptor, or something like that. Or is it bah, humbug?
