Does this look ok for my Raptor?

If I change the vehicle from V-Raptor to Raptor it says not suitable, yet has both in the description?

The Raptor and V-Raptor have the same sprockets and chain, so it's ok to order one for the other and vice-versa. If I remember right it's 16T front and 40T rear. You might want to consider changing to 17/39 to match the TL1000 gearing and some say it reduces chain wear as the 17T front, being a prime number, doesn't land on the same chain link all the time.

Finally moving on this, ordered 17/42 sprockets, as that is only a 1.18% gear up from stock 16/40.

Also grabbed this chain.

I thought they had geared down the raptor from the TL?

The SV 1000 is 17/40 which is a 3.6% change

I like the gearing, It makes the bike feel free and revvy, a lot like my old Ducati 748!

Yup, precisely why I kept it close, I think the suzuki's were 17/38. I like it the way it is.

Also need some inputs here while still in the subject of chains.

I'm in a bit of a dilemma as to which chain & sprocket sizes would be optimal since my bike's had quite a few mods in the rear (a single-side swingarm, for one). The existing combination are 530 chains + 45 rear sprockets + 15 front sprockets. As far as upgrading the front, should I follow the standard guidelines or adapt to the rear, keeping in mind that the wheelbase has extended by roughly 19mm.

Cheers and thanks as always, mates!
