let us know what the quality of your carbon is like.forza dont have a price up for their front mudgaurd,but comparing the dummy air ducts and belly pan site to site forza an quite a bit cheaper, and i know it is top notch stuff, you can even pick the size of the carbon weave.

read what i wrote, never said cornering causes blueing, just pointed out the blueing makes edges of tires slipery.best to remove b4 cornering.blueing usually is a result of grease/dirt and oils off road that gets cooked onto tire when tire overheats and is not removed as you have not done much corne...

one of the instructors who got my wife through her test had a raptor.his chain adjuster snapped,wheel against swingarm,crash.he escaped with few bruises but bike totalled.this was caused by the swingarm end caps that hold the adjuster bolts cracking,so i regularily check mine now.one cause in genene...

you may find like i did that they become slippery on corners once blued so be carefull. my mate on his buel uses an electric sander to scuff up tires and remove blueing.tried it and got loads more grip.don,t take much rubber off,just scuff up tires.

pretty sure there is a link on here somewhere to a downloadable manual.other than that there is no commercally available manual for raptorsI have found. and i doubt there will ever be as it appears the 1000,s are not to be made anymore.mind you it would be just like haynes to produce one now the bik...

take an old exhast gasket to any bike shop that carry spares,even some car spares places. replaced my exhaust gaskets with kawasaki ones, no idea what model,they just went to a box measured up and £6 a pair.sorted. on my guzzi trike the rear master cylinder seal blew, its a simple O ring with a lip....

went to the buel/v twin rally at weekend,(unfortunately on guzzi trike as had son with me),expected to see all those from here who said were going.only two raptors there.dissapointed.were the two there from here.

having gone though the same search as you,I discovered that the v raps have no diferent fitments to the standard raps. the difference is that the bellypans made for v raps are more pointy at front to match crisp pointy lines the v has. the standard can be either,if fact alot of them just seem to be ...

sv ones im told fit,but dont have the right lines if you have a v rap.look at my pics in chat.belly pan came from www.cabontek.com , forza italia have a nice range in both carbon and plastic.

also fitting a hugger will protect your mono shock, and personally i would recommend a bellypan.
