I took have just retired Nov last year I think I have just spent my pension on forks from Italy vat import duty and to top it of I had to register with HMRC as a importer to get them released. big thanks to Nick ST4 for a nice shiny shock progress is being made now the headlamp rim is going to be shown up. At least the wheel spindles are pickling nicely. As for the new forks customs have taken over from the DVLA as my new spanner in the works

I have sourced a new upgraded adjustable set still boxed in Italy they are on their way . Assuming I will have to pay vat and import duties they are still the cheapest option even more so as will have a very good left leg to sell . Yesterday My mate and I separated the fork ( he is a Mechanical engineer ) I am just a 66 year old apprentice well we knackered it ! I had to drill out the grub screw and I must have left a bit of swarf in and it picked up on the thread in the alloy thread of the knuckle
