Re: New Chain Time

The Raptor and V-Raptor have the same sprockets and chain, so it's ok to order one for the other and vice-versa. If I remember right it's 16T front and 40T rear. Re: How many on the road are on here

I'm one of the "X"es - to my shame it was SORNd for two years but it's back on the road now.
There don't seem to be many Rappys down here in the South-West, be nice to meet up with any.

Re: Grab Rail Naked Raptor 1000

Hey HydE, I've got a grab rail in the garage somewhere - just a simple rail no luggage rack or whatever, send me a message if you're interested / photos whatever. Cheers, Hifi.

Front Brake Pads

Any consensus on the best front brake pads to use on a Rappy 1000? Running around on the weekend I could tell the front brakes aren't what they should be so I'm going to do a pad / fluid replace as the bike has been standing for a while... Cheers :)

Re: Air pressure sensor location

It goes on the left hand side of the bike, just inside the cradle of the frame ahead of the regulator/rectifier. If you can wait until the weekend I can take a photo of mine?

Hey Nick, you're right the Gran Canyon is a lovely looking machine - slightly reminiscent of a Super Moto about it maybe? As to the Elephant, I guess people like race winners :D
