As Steve said, check the caliper, make sure the pistons move freely and the rubbers are intact and not allowing crap to ingress around the pistons. fuel pump is a genuine Suzuki item, had one out at the weekend, but didn't note the reference numbers before replacing, like TLMonkey, i'd say it was the TL1000S unit.

My X-Rap has covered 9,500 miles on the original "Regina" chain and sprokets, still looks fine and within service limits, but have new set to change at 10,000 for peace of mind.

As mentioned, 28mm socket or ring spanner for Nut (should be socket and torque wrench by rights) and a 27mm open-end spanner for securing t'other side... you can get a 28mm individual socket from any decent engineering merchants, tool shop or motor-factor... for info www.beta-tools.com regards Brihass

They work well, good vision, better than standard, but do tak...

Hi Gfunk, think you will find this snatchy throttle fuelling problem with anything that uses the Suzuki TL1000 engine, mine was simply on/off at 3000rpm which made town riding quite an art (solution - open roads - balls out !!!!). I fitted a power commander and this smoothed out the fuelling perfect...

Phil,

contact Quill Exhausts (JB Racing) they can put your bike on their dyno and set up the fuelling similar to a yoshi box set-up by changing the mapping electronically. Good set of guys down there... they just fixed Amanda's bike...

hi, emoto seem to be the best bet for quality carbon copies, you could also try the MV Agusta front guards as they are supposed to fit and are cheaper, although they are shorter at the rear. I have just fitted oval Quill carbon Evo2 cans to my X-Rap, had them made to 380mm and they sound awesome wit...
