Re: radical suspension upgrade
For the other end i have a complete tuono set of showa forks, the discs fit exactly to our wheel and our brake calipers fit exactly on the forks. Vassilis, Would the Tuono forks be a direct replacement then? Are you saying all our running gear ie wheel and calipers etc will bolt directly onto the n...

Re: Scarlatti appear to be having a sale
I have found an adress on the interweb, but nothing on thier website. Always leads me to think that they are con artists. I know they probably aren't but its just an impression given by not giving out decent contact details.

Re: Exhaust is blowing...
The exhaust o rings disintergrated on mine. The bike chewed them up and spat them out of the stnadard cans when i removed the race cans to sell. There is a place in London who deals with Cagiva. The name was MME or www.mmemotorcycles.co.uk they guy there was great. I know some people on here have us...

Re: Scarlatti appear to be having a sale
I sent them an email today re the underseat panels. I'll let yopu know if i hear anything from them. The GRP stuff ain't a bad price, i couldn't make some of the stuff that cheap to be honest. I am a little sceptical though over websites that offer no address or phone number. I like to know where i ...

Modified Standard Cans
Here's a question. Has anyone attempted to modify thier standard cans i.e remove some of the baffles? I was up the gargae on saturday and must admit i think they still suit the bike better than the Stainless cans i have on. Just wish they were a little louder. I think Cagiva really did quieten the b...

HELP - Exhaust Gaskets - Link Pipes
Hi all, I need new exhaust gaskets, they are the graphite/metalic ones that fit between the link pipe and the down pipes. I have managed to find a place in London that can get me them, but i was wondering if any one one here knows the sizes (mines are a bit worse for wear) and another location to pu...

HELP!!! Raptor Trouble
Hi all, Last night was a mad one. Re-fitted the Race system and the engine wouldn't run properly. Kept bogging down on tick over and stalling, couldn't adjust the fast idle or anything, it just wouldn't run. Ended up refitting the original cans and the standard airfilter. Even then it took a while t...

Yoshi Box
Hi all, I think the Raptor is in need of some Dyno time and setting up properly. I have a local Dyno place that can do a few dyno runs and sort out the mapping with the Yoshi box as i still haven't got a Power Commander. If i have this done will it screw up the ECU and how easy is it to return it al...

Re: Notts/Derbyshire border newbie
Welcome. I'll have another Guiness please :D Not sure on the 650, but the 1000 has the timing retarded in the first 3 gears. Suzuki did it to the engines to stop us enjoying the full wheelie experiance. It causes a little hiccup at 3k revs. Its simple to remove the retarding, just get a TRE. Like i ...
