Manual has too much Manuel

HellO. My downloaded Manual has pages D23 to D 42 in Italian. Even the pictures look Italian... I love Italian food and some of my best friends are Italian, or used to be so this is not a complaint!! Perish the thought.... Does anyone have those pages in another language? I'd like to see it in Japan...

Whilst doing valve clearances....

Howdi !! First time for me to check the valve clearances on my 1000. Do I need to replace the rocker cover gaskets? The bike's done about 38,000kms. Do I add a bit of gasket goo to any particular rocker cover part?... And if I need to order shims and lift the cams, any life saving tips for me please...

Hello Spyke baby!

The one on the bottom of my tank looks nothing like your new one. Where did your mech put your new one and would you recommend it for easy fitting?

Thanks Spyke, see you soon

Re: 70 mph+ a nono

Hello Sir!

A cup of metholated spirits in your tank, shake well ( e.g. from side to side whilst sitting on the bike ) to mix petrol and metho. The metho absorbs the water but still allows cylinder ignition. Replace/clean your fuel filter after running the tank with the metho....

Good luck
