Re: Happiest Bunny Alive....
Bleedin' snow! I've only had my bike out for a ride about three times. It's either been very cold or very wet, but I've been determined. I've had to admit defeat this week though. I can't even get my bike out because of the ice and snow, never mind ride it. Ah well, at least my family have seen a bi...

Re: The Oberon Prformance barend indicators cool or not?
They look ok, but can you see them working? One of my neighbours got rid of the stock indicators when he got a fancy tail end on his CBR600 with faired in indicators. These weren't very bright so he got a tial-light with LED indicator strips. These weren't all that obvious, so he added some little m...

Re: Happy Yule
Well I'm not going to be riding the bike much in this weather, so I might as well stop in the bar and have a few. Cheers everybody. All the best for Chrizzy and the New Year.

Re: hello
Only got my bike a few weeks ago. Damned if I'm waiting until Spring before I ride it. My bike is an '01 plate and there's no muck or corrosion on it - so I think that this must be the first grotty weather it's seen. I'm sure that the finish isn't too bad, but I doubt that it will be looking quite s...

Re: old post
Wow, thanks for bumping this one up. Funnily enough, I've had a hankering to do something similar to the Raptor since I bought it, except that was only about a month ago so I think I'm getting ahead of myself a bit. I used to be heavily into custom bikes but gave up on the last project I attempted t...

Re: wish list
I have "this" on my list Just been and picked up a tin this afternoon. I should have put it on before I went for a ride. Got back after dark and wheeled the bike straight in the shed. So I've goy a bike covered in kak and an unused tin of ACF on the shelf next to it. I'll see if I can get ...

Re: santa,s wish list
I've just spent all of the family's savings actually buying the bike a couple of weeks ago. I suppose that I'd better spend this month's disposable income buying some Chrizzy prezzies for the kids.

Re: Crash Protectors
I'll have a go at altering them myself. I've got various tools of mass destruction primed and ready to go. 'Skimming' probably isn't the appropriate word but I'd rather lose a bit of bobbin than risk the cooling system.

Re: Grab handles / racks.
Thanks for the help. I've seen the Ventura ones advertised, but not the Hepco-Becker ones, which are probably more than I need as I 'm not planning on doing much touring. I'll see if Santa can rustle up something for me!

Grab handles / racks.
One of the things that I've noticed about my Raptor is the almost total lack of anywhere to put my nick-naks. In fact, because of the plastic seat trim, there's not much to bungee my leggings to either. I've seen a few photos of Raptors with what look like factory fitted grab handles. Do these exist...

Re: Crash Protectors
I've just put some R&G crash bungs on my bike. The right hand one is cut away but still fouls the radiator hose. The water can still pass, but the hose is crimped slightly. Has anybody else run their bike like this? I don't want to impair the reliability of my bike, but the roads are awful grimy...

Well that was a fairly cheap round! I've just come back in again because it's pretty bleak outside. I've brought my new avatar with me and I'd like to show it to everyone but I can't figure out how. Presume that there's something in the user control panel, but I can't see what. Did I mention that I ...

Just dropping in for a swift one tonight, but hello everybody, nice to meet you. I'm not organised with the likes of avatars and signatures yet, but they'll be folllowing shortly. Just picked up my Raptor Thou last Friday. Never considered one until I saw this one a couple of weeks ago and decided t...
