Re: Brake & Clutch Levers
Weird, I bought this exact set of levers but the clutch one is useless, flops around loose as. I'm wondering if perhaps a previous owner has used a TL1000 bracket etc.

Carbies FTW!, Fuel injection is just a pale digital imitation at it's best.
Re the snatchiness at low rev's I fitted a tre to bella last week, noticeably smoother now, as in no more clutch grabs just to get out of the driveway, also seems to pull a bit harder thru the gears too.

Re: Old topic - rear shock sizes
Hi,
I have been eyeing off the bitubo shocks too, though my Raptor 1K is stock. Nice front end, I have been considering what to do with mine as it is both leaking and crap.

Nice ride, did the tail light fit straight in?
I'm thinking about a set of Renthal Road Low Bars for mine.

Re: Leaking?
It might be historical I think, as I rode it 450 k's home and didn't notice anything leaking, nor do I see any stains on our porch yet. :) Hard to tell in the pic, but it comes from higher up in the shadowy part, so I would not suspect chain gunge. Still, good to know those covers come off, I will r...

Leaking?
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone knows what this stain might be from, it is a kind of gold colour, so unsure if it might have been caused by fuel, or coolant maybe?

Re: Hi from Canberra
It is the wire from the rear banjo switch, I soldered a new bit in the middle, then replaced the blade connectors, but in the end it still defeated me as one of the connectors in the white plug is also dodge.
Will need to go to supercheap and see what connectors they have on the weekend.

Hi from Canberra
Howdy, thought I best say hello before all the noobie questions begin.
Picked up my Raptor 1000 on tuesday, 52,000k's young and going strong.
First job is to straighten the rear brake lever and see why the rear brake light is not activating so I can register her.
