Dedication or wot?

Post by nickst4 »

I fear that the attached photo may cause offence to those of a nervous disposition, but it shows (not much of) me in the padded cycle-shorts I wear beneath my kevlar jeans, so as to give my boney backside some relief on the bumpy roads around here. It was a bit of a giggle when I realised the branding matched the name of one of my favourite bikes!

Been using padded cycle shorts for years!

Much cheaper than gel pads and stuff specifically for motorbikes and it allows you to keep the rap seat standard and whatever bike you ride its a comfier ride!!!

I used to wear them as a despatch rider(motorcycle courier) when I worked in Sydney. Funny thing now is I'm a long distance truck(lorry) driver and they enforce fatigue management on us.....try riding a 300kg Kawasaki GTR1000 in the wet for 12 hours and tell me how fatigued I'll get!
