Returning biker. Bought a v raptor

Post by 7282 »

hi all. Been a biker since the 90s. But gave it up 7 years ago. But decided to buy a bike again. God knows why but I’ve bought a v raptor. Well it was cheap and I always liked the look of them when they came out. Had a Sv1000 along with other bikes so I know the engines good. But beyond that I know very little about them. So any advice, would be useful. I’ll be taking it easy since I’ve not ridden for years, but got to say I’m really looking forward to picking it up today.

Oooh welcome in. :)

Advice? Well.. Ride and enjoy mostly, a rare beast that's classic uncommon yet not exclusive. Basic maintenance and care will see you enjoying for large amounts of miles.

Pet your bike, talk to it, they're multi lingual, speaking both Italian and Japanese fluently but understanding English very well too. They do have a tendency to take you the long way home though, because, well the short way is boring.
