hi Pod
I managed to drop my Raptor (naked 1000) off its side stand and broke the clutch lever.
I tried to find a replacement lever on the web but the closest I could get was an old Suzuki GT 750 (kettle)
It done the job but was not ideal, the shape being different meant that I could spin the starter without pulling in the clutch and the point at which the clutch would bite meant that there was a lot of play in the lever.
It done until I bit the bullet and paid through the nose for a part from 3X to be sent from Italy.
Hope you find a cheaper alternative, if you do let me know

Hi all,

If you want an adjustable lever either Cagiva Navigator or Moto Guzzi California ones fit,I've been told, the stock non-adjustable lever is definately Moto Guzzi,Suzuki TLS are slightly different.

i'm riding with a TL1000S clutch lever at the moment, which fits more or less, but there's a LOT of play in it. Not ideal at all.

thatnks sheb for allowing it 8) i really like the comment about being an established poster

brake and clutch levers

Post by Billy996 »

wanted some pazzo race levers for my v raptor after breaking a couple of fingers at work. usual story at dealers,'sorry sir we don't stock anything for cagiva'. no problem i'll have a set for a tl1000s then. £135 later, big problem, brake lever goes straight on,clutch lever just about fits but is really sloppy. solution, buy a clutch handle bar clamp for a suzuki rv125 van van. allows you to keep your mirror and the clutch cut out switch.oh what joy, fully adjustable rolls royce quality levers and two fingered gear changes. almost worth breaking them in the first place.clamp is about 35 quid. does anybody know of a different clutch cable that will fit? i've just had to shell out £73 for one and it took 6 wks to arrive. also where can i get some nice rear sets and what can i hang my silencers off if i fit said rear sets? thanks.

welcome in Billy996

I'm pretty sure there is a thread somewhere about clutch cables :? - My replacement's from a TL1000 - again it works, but is not perfect. Our Italian cousins use one from a scooter I believe

I still need to connect the clutch switch to start and disconnect it after starting though.
Or get a pushswitch for it, or get some parts from a tl1000s and buy barend mirrors (i'm going for that solution, lol).
